With this trip we explore our lovely west coast visiting new attractions and accommodations. This trip is designed to explore the Western Cape and some wine farms with a dash of history and visiting small villages and their shops. Two flights are included in the tour.
Day 1: 08h30: Distance for day: 90 km
Depart for your flight to Cape Town and depart for Darling where we will overnight at Waylands Farm. Explore the town of Darling and visit Evita’s Peron for afternoon coffee. Dinner at The Bistro in town.

Day 2 : 08h30: Distance for day : 120 km
After breakfast visit Evita’s Peron for coffee before we enjoy an olive and wine pairing at Darling Olives.
Continue towards Langebaan to the world-renowed West Coast Fossil Park to visit the laboratory and museum and walk to the dig site.
After lunch, travel to Paternoster with its whitewashed Fishermens cottages, unspoilt beaches and fynbos.
Visit Die Winkel op Paternoster (Oep ve Koep) for homemade pickels, jams, West Coast salt, fynbos honey, enjoy a walk on the beach before we have dinner at Voorstrandt Restaurant
Overnight at the Paternoster De Linden Boutique guest house.

Day 3: Distance for day: 150km
Leave for Velddrif and the SA Fisheries Museum to learn about the history of fishing on the West Coast. Onwards to Port Owen Marina for a boat cruise up the Berg River.
Enjoy lunch at Die Vishuis restaurant in Velddrift.
Visit the Bird Island for the afternoon. Enjoy a lovely meal at Boskuifklip restaurant (weather permitting) or Die Muisbosskerm and overnight at Grootvlei Guestfarm in Lambertsbay

Day 4: Distance for day: 120km
Travel toward Clanwilliam to the Elandsberg eco reserve to visit the rooibos tea plantation and visit Chris and Annette for a great tea tasting and then a tour of the farm. Chris is a great farmer and takes you through all the steps on rooibos farming to processing and final product. Afterwards you are welcome to buy Rooibos tea directly from them. Afterwards travel to Fryer’s Cove vineyards in Doringbaai for lunch and wine tasting. Return to Grootvlei Guestfarm after dinner at Isabella’s restaurant.

Day 5: 09h00: Distance for day : 180 km
Travel to Tulbagh for a wine tasting at Rijks Country House and Wine Estate and lunch at the Governors Restaurant on site. Continue to Riebeek-Kasteel, check in at The Royal Hotel. Explore town and visit Wicked treats bakery for coffee and something delicious. Dinner at The Royal Hotel.

Day 6: Distance for day : 90km
At leisure until 11h00, explore Riebeek-kasteel with its many quaint shops and interesting galleries. Depart at 11h00 to Allesverloren for wine tasting.
Lunch is in Philadelphia at De Malle Meul restaurant. Time permitting, explore the village before we return to Cape Town. Overnight at Leeuwenvoet Guesthouse in Cape Town

Day 7 : 09h00 distance for day : 20km
Enjoy a city tour and visit Table Mountain (weather permitting)
Explore the V & A Waterfront
Dinner in Die Bo-Kaap at Biesmiellah
Overnight at Leeuwenvoet Guesthouse.

Day 8 : 10h00 : distance for day 20km
After breakfast transfer to Cape Town Airport for your flight home
