    We visit the south coast and have some relaxing time on the beach. We will also visit the Oribi Gorge one day and uShaka Sea World on the day tours or relax and enjoy the ocean and Hotel.

     

    Day 1: 8 June  

    Travel along the N3 via Heidelberg, Harrismith and the van Reenen’s pass. Breakfast/lunch on route, we will be travelling via the N1 to reach our Hotel in Scottsburg where we will be staying for 4 nights. Book in, unpack and enjoy your first walk on the beach. Blue Marlin Hotel.

    Day 2: 9 June 

    Today is a day of rest, just enjoying the Hotel, beach and surrounds. Breakfast and lunch at the Hotel at your own leisure. Dinner at 19h00 in the Hotel restaurant.

     Day 3: 10 June

    For those that want to stay at the Hotel, the day will be at leisure for you to do whatever you desire. For the rest we will depart after breakfast for the Oribi Gorge. A wonderfully scenic area, the Oribi Gorge offers excellent hiking opportunities where you may catch a glimpse of several antelope species and an array of birdlife, particularly five species of kingfisher and seven species of eagle that inhabit the reserve. Lunch at Oribi Gorge. Returning to the Hotel in the afternoon. Dinner at the Hotel.

    Day 4:  11 June 

    After breakfast, we travel to Durban to visit Ushaka Marine World, enjoy dolphin and seal show. Lunch at Ushaka returning to the Hotel in the afternoon. Dinner at the Hotel.

    Day 5: 12 June

    After a last morning’s breakfast it is time to leave this beautiful region. We drive through more scenic areas and towns, stop over at Montusi Lodge in the Drakensberg where we will overnight.

    Day 6: 13 June

    Enjoy a great breakfast with the view of the Drakensberg before we head back to Johannesburg
