We firstly travel along the N4 towards Middelburg, (coffee break) where we turn off towards Ermelo, where we will enjoy lunch. After lunch it is another 2 hours comfortable drive towards Piet Retief, where we will stay overnight at the Dusk to Dawn guest farm. It is lovely working farm, and guests can explore the farm on foot, before enjoying a wonderful dinner.

After a wonderful farm breakfast, we depart along the N2 route, towards Hluhluwe, where we check into the Bonamanzi Game Reserve for the next 2 night’s stay at their Lalapanzi camp. It’s a great base to explore the area from.  A light meal will be enjoyed on arrival, and you can also relax and enjoy the lovely gardens. At around 15h30, we will enjoy a Twilight boat trip ending with sundowners and snacks on the banks of the Hluhluwe river. It also includes two short game drives to and from the Hluhluwe River. We then return to the camp to have a lovely dinner.

The game drive on the open vehicle is approximately 6 hours, which will also include a lovely picnic lunch at a picnic site in the park or at the restaurant at Hilltop camp.  We return in the late afternoon to Bonamanzi Game Reserve to relax before dinner. Weather permitting we will enjoy a bush braai in the indigenous forest.
