This tour provides a wonderful summer break and the opportunity to experience a 3 night safari in a Malaria free area in the Waterberg in Limpopo. This is a 4 hour drive to the Limpopo and an excellent experience to see wild life with great hospitality.

Day 1: Sunday 18 October

We depart towards Pretoria and Bela Bela and after a breakfast and coffee stop at Kranskop, we turn off the main route towards Nylstroom (Modimolle) and see the grasslands change to the typical bushveld biome. Around 12hoo, we will arrive at the main gate and here, guests will be transferred to open vehicles for the drive into Welgevonden. This is when your game viewing starts and once at the lodge, guests will have time to check in and freshen up before lunch.

At 15h00 Tea is served and we then depart on the first game drive in an open vehicle. Experienced rangers  accompany you and will provide you with information on the animals and nature you see. Especially on species that are endemic to this region. After sundowner drinks at a lookout point watching the sunset, we depart back to the lodge so that you can freshen up for dinner in the boma . This is always a nice treat.

Day 2 & 3 Monday & Tuesday 19/20 Oct

Experience 2 days of typical lodge and safari activities. Enjoy an early morning safari seeing Africa coming to life and perhaps meet those elusive big cats on the prowl. We head back to the lodge for breakfast before you settle down for your midday siesta. The rest of the day is the same as day one so be prepared to be spoilt rotten.

Day 4: Wednesday 21 October

A last opportunity for an early morning game drive followed by breakfast and checking out. We depart at 09h00 and travel on the same route towards JHB. Convenience stops will be made along the route and you arrive home in the early afternoon.
