Johannesburg City Day Tour

Established in July 1886 and only due to the largest ever discovery of gold in the world, Johannesburg tells a story of wealth and poverty, of people from all walks of life coming to find wealth. This is the city of contrasts. Catz Tours focus on the history of Johannesburg, the finding of the gold and the people that makes Johannesburg so unique.

Itinerary:

 We start by driving through some of the suburbs of Johannesburg and downtown with a stop at Top of Africa in the Carlton Centre where we have a bird’s eye view of the sprawling metropolis. Take a walking tour on the Gold route & Maboneng. Lunch can be enjoyed in Maboneng and then you can visit Constitutional Court and the Constitution Hill for a guided tour. Our tour ends with a drive through the affluent Northern Suburbs of Sandton and past the home where Mr Mandela ended out his last days. The tour can be bespoked to include your specific interest on request.
