
Tucked away in the northeastern corner of Botswana, on the banks of the famous Chobe River, the scenic little town of Kasane rests on the doorstep of the spectacular Chobe National Park. There are no boundary fences separating the village from the park and game such as elephant and hippo are often spotted roaming around the town. Within Kasane, an ancient baobab tree stands on display, once serving as a local prison. Enjoy a game drive through the park or taking a sunset cruise down the Chobe River
Day 1: Tlou Safari Lodge, Kasane
Fly from Johannesburg to Kasane OR if you add on Botswana to Vic Falls then you will be transferred by road from Vic Falls to Tlou Safari Lodge
On arrival at the lodge you will be checked in and you activities will be arranged.
Enjoy a sunset cruise and return to the Lodge for dinner
Overnight: Tlou Safari Lodge
Tlou Safari Lodge is situated in Kasane, Botswana, near the Chobe Crocodile Farm, the Chobe National Park, the Kasane Hot Spring and the Imbabala Boathouse. Accommodation consists of chalets equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, mosquito netting, satellite television and bathrooms. Each unit also has a kitchen where guests can prepare meals. Additional amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, private barbecue areas and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Day 2: Tlou Safari Lodge, Kasane
After breakfast meet up with your Guide and enjoy an early morning game drive in Chobe( +- 3 hours) return to the Lodge for breakfast. Relax – swim – sit on the deck overlooking the river and explore the Lodge.
Depart for a later afternoon open game drive or boat cruise (=- 3 hours)and return to the Lodge for dinner.
Day 3: Tlou Safari Lodge, Kasane
Today you can enjoy an early morning open vehicle game drive ( +- 3 hours) return to the Lodge for breakfast and to relax
Later afternoon boat cruise or game drive (+- 3 hours) and the dinner at the Lodge.
Day 4: End of Itinerary
Enjoy breakfast, pack up and transfer to the airport for your flight back to Johannesburg
