
Tucked away in the northeastern corner of Botswana, on the banks of the famous Chobe River, the scenic little town of Kasane rests on the doorstep of the spectacular Chobe National Park. There are no boundary fences separating the village from the park and game such as elephant and hippo are often spotted roaming around the town. Within Kasane, an ancient baobab tree stands on display, once serving as a local prison. Enjoy a game drive through the park or taking a sunset cruise down the Chobe River
Day 1: Chobe Marina Lodge, Kasane (Tue, 24 March)
Fly from Johannesburg to Kasane OR if you add on Botswana to Vic Falls then you will be transferred by road from Vic Falls to Chobe Marina Lodge
On arrival at Chobe Marina lodge you will be checked in and you activities will be arranged.
Enjoy a sunset cruise and return to the Lodge for dinner
Overnight: Chobe Marina Lodge
Chobe Marina Lodge is situated in Kasane, Botswana, near the Chobe National Park, the Chobe Crocodile Farm and the Mowana Golf Course. Units feature air-conditioning, a flat-screen television, a minibar, a desk, a safety deposit box, a wardrobe, a hairdryer, a telephone and tea and coffee facilities. There are three on-site restaurants where guests can enjoy meals
Day 2: Chobe Marina Lodge, Kasane (Wed, 25 March)
After breakfast meet up with your Guide and enjoy an early morning game drive in Chobe, return to the Lodge for breakfast
Relax, explore the Lodge and walk on the 250 meters of boardwalk along the Chobe
Depart for a later afternoon open game drive or boat cruise and return to the Lodge for dinner.
Day 3: Chobe Marina Lodge, Kasane (Thu, 26 March)
Today you can enjoy an early morning open vehicle game drive, return to the Lodge for breakfast and to relax
Later afternoon boat cruise or game drive and the dinner at the Lodge.
Day 4: End of Itinerary (Fri, 27 March)
Enjoy breakfast, pack up and transfer to the airport for your flight back to Johannesburg
